Description
Chanda couldn’t sleep. She opened her window and looked out. What was that? Floating in between the houses. Was it a balloon? A flying fish? Chanda’s mother and father forbade her to keep it. Chanda at least wanted to make sure that it reached home safely. But she doesn’t say where is home. All that it says is aye, yu, ku, maan, tsuki, karu, Qamar and finally… Chanda.
Lisa Aisato touches upon the big issues of life in her inimitable style. The loneliness of life and clinging on to hope can be found in her words and art work.
Stand in Chanda’s shoes and look at the many shades of the world!
